Cheap and cheerful, lovely warm comfortable rooms. Great breakfast and super friendly and helpful staff.
I had a very cosy single room on the top floor, with it's own hand basin and a shared bathroom with one other room. The bedding was very luxurious and I slept well on both nights. My first night on Shetland was at the nearby Islesburgh house hostel (which is also very good), but Carradale was only £10 a night more expensive and included a full cooked breakfast, so great value for money. There is a bus stop nearby which is ideal if you don't have your own transport. My only negative was that the room had a constant electrical humming noise, for which I couldn't find the source. Other than that, I would happily stay again.
I recommend! The staff is very nice, you can have eggs, fruits, bacon, toasts, yoghurts,... for breakfast. I slept very well. The heating system works. Everything was perfect.

Nice small but basic room. Nicely furnished. TV was a surprise. Lovely big shower in beautifully renovated share bathroom. Proprietors very helpful. Strange humming noise in room I couldn't pin down or turn off
Excellent accommodation. The location is fantastic; you can get anywhere in Lerwick quickly. The breakfast is excellent. The rooms are clean and have everything you need (although you shouldn't expect luxury accommodations at this price, of course), and the owners are very friendly. Thank you very much, and I would be happy to come back anytime.
Had a week in the fab guesthouse in Seotember. Room & bathroom clean, bed very comfy & smashing brekky. Tea/coffee etc replenished daily & towels changed. Great location - we walked each night finding places to dine, only 15 min walk down to the harbour area & felt very safe. Would heartily recommend and plan to revisit!
Simply magic What I was looking for. Big room with a view on the bay from the distance. Quite place. Welcoming staff and super friendly. They kept my luggage for many hours. Highly recommend
